Brendan Eisenhut

Brendan Eisenhut is a junior research assistant at the Chair of Land Policy, Land Management, and Municipal Surveying at TU Dortmund University. His work focuses on densification, land policy and climate adaptation.

He first joined the group in 2022 as a student assistant, focusing on planning cartography. He contributed to the BBSR project on landownership transparency and later he was part of SUBDENSE research project with project partners from Liverpool (UK), Paris (FR) and Dresden (DE) on the topic of suburban densification. 

At the moment, he works as a research assistant in the EU Interreg North-West Europe research Project "RAINBOW - Development of innovative solutions for climate-resilient urban water management", which addresses the increasing impacts of climate change, including flood risks and periods of water scarcity, by promoting the “sponge city” approach.
