Thomas Hartmann speaks to Israeli authorities - planning and water authorities and ministries - on "land for flood retention and resilience" at the launch of the planning process on an Israeli national statutory plan on flood management.

Israeli ministries, planning authorities, and water authorities collaborate on an Israeli national statutory plan on flood management. Thomas Hartmann gave a keynote where he addressed three key messages: (1) Flood risk management needs more land! (2) Integrated water and land management is needed and (3) Land needed is often in private ownership. He also reported on LAND4FLOOD and its activities.
