Cornelia recently completed her MSc Spatial Planning at TU Dortmund University. In her master's thesis, she explored the allocative effects of property taxes and investigated their consideration in the political decision making process of the german property tax reform and municipal practice. With this, she built a special expertise on the land value tax.
Currently, she is developing her PhD to the topic: Understanding strategies of densification. For this, she investigates the understanding of the policy goal of densification and the strategies of different actors in the process.
In the SUBDENSE project, Cornelia collaborates with partners from Liverpool (UK), Paris (FR), Dresden (DE) and TU Dortmund on the topic of suburban densification. Here, she focuses on the topic of land policy.
