"By presenting a range of experiences from different countries, the book aims to inspire scholars, practitioners, decision-makers, and, of course, students to become curious about land polices in other nations. [...]
This book [discusses] land policies in Europe—not as an encyclopaedic comparison, but as a work that encourages and enables reflections on land policies beyond national borders. The editors and authors developed this book out of a belief that international perspectives on land policy can inspire and enrich reflections on these crucial issues, linking back to the overarching question of land."
(Hartmann, Hengstermann, Jehling, Schindelegger, Wenner: Introducing Land Policies in Europe)
